The Gold Coin

                I asked Nancy to come in. She found a purple book on a desk that was in another

         room of Clarie´s house. Nancy opened it, there she found some kind of list.

        The first point of the list, said the following: "Steal gold coin from Super coins"

         In the second that Nancy read that, she felt a shiver on her elbow,(it was Clarie.)

              She quickly took the purple book from Nancy´s hands and exclaimed: "What are you doing!?, that is private!"

Then, I tied Clarie to a chair, and I started to interrogate her.Without Clarie knowing, Nancy quickly grabbed the book and put it in her purse. She said she had found that book in the trash the night before  halloween,(the day of the assault) and that it belonged to a person called "Margaret" (the cover of the book had a label with that name)

               She was quite scared. I told her to calm down, and I thanked her for the data. Nancy called a taxi, and she left me in my house.The next morning,I woke up and I got dressed;when I was going to Nancy´s house to see if she had thought of anything about the crime,  I saw some strange footprints that guided me to a deserted street.

              I entered a house that was near a bank, and then I remembered that Nancy had told me the other point in the list that was assaulting the bank.(She had told me that when we were already in the car.) I kept on walking till I found someoene hiding under a chair. I walked towards him, he closed his eyes and then shivered. I asked, "Why are you hiding?" He looked at me and said nothing. He was very scared and the place was creepy: It didn´t have light, it was all destroyed and sometimes you could hear scary noises that came from the roof. I kept on asking and telling him he was safe now, and that I was a detective.

            I stared at him, I rubbed my chin and asked, "who!?" He gazed at the window and said in a very low voice,"Margaret, the bank robber." I thanked him and went to look for clues to the bank.  The  glass  was rotten and  the door was locked  so  I had to enter through the glass. I found a note on the floor beside the door. It said the following: "Thanks, your bank robber, Margaret." I started searching for finger prints in the SAFE and I finaly found some. I took a picture of them and went out to meet Nancy.

            When I got to her house, she was waiting for me "Late." she exclaimed when she sort of giggled. I laughed and said. "New clues!" She looked and said "Me too, I found that in the last page of the purple book there is some sort of address. What did you find?" "Oh" I exclaimed.I found out that "Margaret" assaulted the bank just as it said in the list, and I also found some fingerprints on the SAFE.

"We´d better go to the house whose address was attached to the book", she said.

           We did so , we went there and confirmed it was her house,(she had just moved there, you could see some boxes in the front garden, and that was why she had written the address on the purple book, so she didn´t forget it.) We knocked ON the door, and a voice answered,"come in."When we entered the house, we found people playing cards, a roulette and such other things you would find in a Casino.

There was also a minibar where drunk people sat. We stared at the house until I felt something touching my backpack(where I had my detective stuff, such as a couple of magnifying glasses, some gloves so as not to touch fingerprints, and I also had some lanterns.)

           When I shook my head to see what was going on, I saw a man searching money in my bag; when he saw my head he tried to run, but his hand was stuck to my backpack.I didn´t know what to do, so I finally reacted,"Go away!"he finally could take out his hand and then ran out the bar.(I was used to this type of people, when you are a detective, you have to be ready to this type of things.)

A woman came out of a dark corner of the huge house and said calmly,"How do you dare take away my clients?"She took us out of the (casino) and screamed,"and never come back!"

              The last thing we saw before she closed the door  was a hand over her elbow and a voice that said, "Margaret, don´t be so quick tempered." We stared at the woman for the last three seconds and then we just gazed at the door that quickly closed. When we entered the car, the first thing we did, was our strategy,(grabbing a sheet of paper, writing down ALL  our notes and clues, and then just sharing them...)

Yes, I just asked my brother to tell me how do you say shiver in English.
