The Precious Jewel

This is the story of a girl called Alexia .

Alexia was 25 years old. She lived with her parents because she couldn`t afford a house for her own. IN summer 1997 she went on a trip on her own to Eygpt where she VISITED the famous museum called The kingdom of the pharaohs. In the museum there were the most famous mUmmies of the world like tutankamons and others, but the best attraction was a precious jewel that they said pharaohs used it to hipnotyze their oponents in war. Alexia, happy of being there went to see it. All the people were around it so she had to push the others to get to the front. Finally she could get THERE. When she saw it suddenly a light sparked out of the jewel. Alexia asked if somebody had seen it but they all said that she was crazy. How could it have sparked? When everybody was gone Alexia felt somehow a sensation of wanting to get the jewel and run away. It was so strong that she couldn`t resist it so suddenly she broke the glass and got it. She started running towards the exit door when she heard alarms ringing so when she got to her hotel she packed all her thingS and went to the airport. SHE took the first flight that went to the States. When she got there she took a taxi to her house. But after a while when she was explaning all this to her mother she realized that the jewel was not In her pocket. She searched all over the house when she suddenly realized that she had left it In the taxi. She started walking around the streets to see if the taxi was near. Suddenly some theiVES got her but the police came IMMEDIATELY AFTER so they got the thieves. Alexia went on walking but she didn`t find the taxi.
