Murder at Martha’s cafe
While I was reading the newspaper I saw a heading that said that Mr. Morrow (a friend of mine) was dead. I am Juan and I am a detective that is why I called my chief, Jorge, who is also was my best friend. We went to Martha’s café, where we found an ugly looking place: it was shabby, it seemed old and ugly, and it was all broken. We had to look for some clues.
Jorge found some handprints so we tried to look for more clues. There he was, Mr. Morrow lying on the floor, I felt uncomfortable to see my friend there, in the cold wet floor like a dog. There we saw some footsteps that went right under the handprint. The murderer had leaned on the right hand and shot with the left one.
So we started to discover who could be left handed. We found that Carlos and Bautista were left handed because the fork and the knife were put on that side. We tried to look for more clues. We looked at the customers’ bills. We looked for Carlo’s and Bautista’s bills but while looking at them we realized that it meant nothing just to look at them because they didn’t have any necessary information. Nothing important and we were desperate to find the murderer. I did not want to let him go, to let him escape. I wanted to get him and take him to court.
We realized that the footsteps that were under the handprint came from under the seat. They may be either Bautista’s or Alejandro’s or Carlos’s. Can you guess whose prints they belong to?
