It all started at Martha’s Café at eight o’ clock Magsy Morrow went to Martha’s café, Magsy was a gangster. He went to this café because he knew Doon was going to be there at eight o’clock. He wanted to see Doon because he had killed his mother and he wanted revenge. He was the only one in the café who had bought cigarettes at eight o’clock in the morning. Doon arrived, and they both sat at a table. Doon asked for a coffee and Morrow went on smoking. There were two more customers, Allan and Billy.
Doon knew that Morrow was going to kill him so Doon decided to kill him first. Martha was washing the floor which was very dirty and full of food. Allan went to Martha and told her his food was cold, so both of them went to the kitchen and warmed up the food. Billy went to the bathroom and Doon said he was going to take some fresh air because he was dizzy. But that was not true, he was going to get his gun!! Morrow stood up to get his gun.
When he was putting the bullets into the gun, his pack of cigarettes fell on the floor, he didn’t want to pick it up. Everybody was going to suspect of him when he killed Doon. So he picked all the cigarettes and put them on Doon’s and Billy’s places. Suddenly…
We don’t know what happened but Morrow was dead.
That was the moment when Martha called me and my assistant, Bobby. We found some clues like a hand print on the wall, some cigarettes on the floor and onDoon and Billy’s places, but they said they didn’tbuy cigarettes. The floor was wet and Morrow was in a strange position but he didn’t have a bullet in his body, but he had some blood on his head. Ahh!! He had a gun next to him, but no bullet in him. In the ceiling we saw holes, maybe they were bullets holes. We interrogated Allan, Billy, Doon and Martha. Martha was in the kitchen with Allan and Billy said he was in the bathroom. Doon said he went to take some fresh air, I didn’t believe that.
We didn’t believe him, but he went to take some fresh air and put bullets into his gun, to kill Morrow because he knew that Morrow was going to kill him because when he was younger Doon had killed Marrow’s mother. I believed that there were footprints from Doon’s chair to the outside, but what we couldn’t understand was who had killed Morrow or what had happened to him! Allan couldn’t be because his footprints were leading to the kitchen and Billy’s couldn’t be because we found his footprints leading to the bathroom. Suddenly Martha called a doctor and they performed an autopsy on Morrow. The doctor said he had fallen on the floor on his back and banged his head against the floor leaving him without breath.
What actually happened was that the holes on the roof were the bullets that really had to kill Doon. So the bullets didn’t kill anyone. Morrow died because he slipped with the water Martha left when she was cleaning the floor. He put his hand on the wall for safety but he didn’t have balance so he fell on the floor and didn’t have breath.
So finally he died. I am still not sure about what happened but I know that this was the most difficult case to solve in my life.
