A murder mystery
One day in a restaurant, Martha’s café, there were four people having dinner. The owner, Martha, had just cleaned the floor and gone into the kitchen. All of a sudden she heard a loud bang. She walked out of the kitchen to see no customers and a dead body.
Immediately after, she called the best known detectives in town. They were called Nicolas Mole and Matias Kweller. Matias was tall, with brown hair and green eyes. Nicolas wasn’t as tall as Matias. He had green blue eyes, not very long brownish hair and freckles.
The detectives walked into the café five minutes later. They recognized the dead body as Mugsy Morrow’s, a well known gangster and criminal. They asked her everything. When she had finished, they started looking around. The suspects were Jack, Juan, Andy and Bautista (who were the people that were there during the shooting). Jack and Bautista were Martha’s best customers.
The detectives identified that the killer was left- handed by looking at the cups of tea. The only left handed ones were Bautista and Andy. They also discovered the killer was left handed because they saw a mark on the wall where the killer had put his hand when he shot (his right hand was on the wall).
Below the mark on the wall, they found a cigarette. They asked Martha for the bills. They saw that the only person who had paid for cigarettes was Bautista. Bautista was the killer…
Martha told them that Bautista would go to her restaurant every Friday at eight o’clock. The detectives told her that they would be there the following Friday at seven thirty. They would wait for Bautista and arrest him.
The following Friday they caught Bautista and took him to jail. They asked him why he had killed Mugsy. He answered that he knew Mugsy would go there so he took a gun. He said he saw red for Mugsy taking his girlfriend so he killed him. They put Bautista in jail where he would stay for a long time.
