My precious diamond

No one, everybody looked weird. The bell rang for everyone to enter their classrooms. Perhaps while I walked down the corridor I could find Pete, who has an enormous house with a huge laboratory in which no ONE can enter, so he could keep it there. I didn't find him, he was probably sick or in on vacations. I thought of another one, but no one came into my mind. I reached my classroom. I sat down on my desk and the lesson started. The only thing I could think of was of the diamond. The bell rang for us to go home. I packed my things in my bag and left. On the way home a lady handed me a card catalog which said that there was a place in which you could keep things in a locker in which no one else could touch it. That was perfect for me to hide the diamond!!!!!!

Next morning, at half past eight I was there. It took me a long time to arrive there because I went BY bicycle. I had to lie to my mother because if she ever found out she WOULD KILL me, so I TOLD her I was going to the park to play with some friends. When I arrived, I knocked ON the door but no one would answer. The guard told me that the shop opened at ten o'clock am. So I decided to make time drinking some milk in a cafe nearby. After I had finished I went back to the shop, it was alredy opened. I opened the door and saw it was full of people. A woman said I had to take a ticket and wait in a sofa reading some magazines. I did what she said. After a long time of waiting my number was called. The receptionist was an old woman dressed in a black dress. She handed me a key and asigned me a loker. It was one nearly at th end of the long corridor full of lockers. I took my diamond out of my pocket and put it in the locker. I put a sweater on top of it in case someone opened it and robbed it. Then I went where I should be and waited until mum came to fetch me.

THE next day was Sunday. It was a rainy morning. I woke up very early thinking about the diamond. had somebody robbed it? I had to know. I said to mum that I had to go and look for some books I had forgoten in a friend's house. I rushed to the shop, and opened the locker.The diamond was no longer there. Someone must have taken it, but who? I asked the receptionist who had opened the lockers. She said the only one who was in the sector of the lockers was a woman that came to clean them. I asked her where she lived, she told me and I rushed to look for her. When I found her I asked her if she had taken my diamond away. Silly question, she obviously said she hadn't. In that moment I saw something hiding In the edge of her bed. I tried to distract her SO I COULG go and look for the diamond but I couldn't. I said I was going to the bathroom, I got the diamond without her realising and I went directly to my house. I went to my room and there I kept it. Safe and sound for a long time, nearly two months.

It was a rainy morning. I could see the rain threw the window that FELL directly to the floor. I had the diamond in my left hand. I had alredy had breakfast and I was ready to go to school. My mother was reading the newspaper while she had a coffe. Something I saw from the newspaper called my atenttion. The women that had taken my diamond away was arrested because she HAD opened the lockers and robbed other people's things.

Nearly three years have passed FROM that day in which I woke up in the hospital with the diamond in my backpack, I still remember it very well. Now the diamond is in the most expensive jewlery. It is the most valued diamond. Every day when I cOme back from school I walk pasT the jewlery and I remember when I had the diamond in my hands.
