Liza´s Precious Diamond 

      I decided to go for an evening stroll. I walked about three blocks when I felt it, the jewel was in my pocket. I was going to take it out of my pocket to look at it, but I was afraid that someone was near me, ready to turn me in to the police.  I just couldn’t stand it anymore, and I pulled it out of my pocket and looked at it. The shining light it gave off hypnotized me. I just kept staring. I heard it say to me before I lost consciousness “Don’t worry Liza. I’ll find you and seek you out!”

    I woke up in the hospital room and saw the jewel in my backpack. Then I went home and my mom was furious.  I told her that it was no ordinary jewel that the police took away from me while I was unconscious - it was uncontrollable.

    The jewel should be kept somewhere special, but I didn’t know where. For whoever had it was doomed to death. I knew I had to do something about it, and put it somewhere, but where?

    It was cold and snowy when I went to school the next day. I was suspicious of everyone. Who could I trust? When I arrived to school I didn´t know who to talk to, so I told (WHAT DID YOU TELL HIM?) my best friend Frank who suggested me to get a box made of metal, dig a hole in the ground,place the box deep in the ground and cover it. "I will help you to dig and I´ll help you in anything" afirmed Frank. On the way back home Liza showed the diamond which she had on her bag. Samething happened to Frank and he heard the voice saying “Don’t worry. I’ll find you and seek you out!”. He sort of faintED but some minutes later he woke up.

   When they arrived to Liza´s house they were lucky that nobody was there, Frank decided to dig a hole in a corner of Liza´s garden, "but quickly", said Frank. While Frank dug de hole she looked for an appropriate metal box, When (WHO?) had finished digging Liza had already placed de diamond in the box that she had chosen. Just at the moment they covered the box with ground(WHAT DO YOU MEAN?) and levelled it, Liza´s parents arrived. Fortunately her parents didn´t realize what was happening. Nobody knew but  this was the beginning of a new legend...

     170 years later... A gardener found the metal box; curiously he opened it and found the diamond he  could only  stand staring at it and he heard the voice saying.“Don’t worry. I’ll find you and seek you out!”. He felt dizzy. He had a better idea and he went to throw it to the sea in the nearest beach.   

     Actually this beach is called "San Diego Diamond Beach". This is because the legend says that when people sail through those waters they hear a voice saying “Don’t worry. I’ll find you and seek you out!”.
